Types of Books You Can Write

The kinds of work I'm most often asked to ghostwrite, and the confidentiality that comes with all of it.

Types of Books You Can Write

Everyone has a book in them. For a few people, that's exactly where it should stay. For everyone else, there's me. Most books start life as something less dignified than a book: a drawer of notes, a story you've told the same way at every dinner until your family can recite it, a pile of expertise you never wrote down because you were too busy actually doing the thing. I find the book hiding in all of that and hand it back to you in your own voice, minus the parts where you repeat yourself. If your project isn't on this list, it probably still belongs here. It just got shy.

Whatever the form, the deal is the same. Your name is on the cover. Mine is on nothing, which is the entire job and also why ghostwriters are useless at small talk. What you tell me stays between us. The book is yours to publish however you like. I just add the structure and the style that make it read like the book you always meant to write, back when you kept meaning to.
